I love the experience of seeing artists up close at the iconic Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill, NC. Local Soundcheck is my hobby project designed with two simple goals:

Help me quickly find bands I would like to hear live
Help those bands get more exposure

How does this site do those two things? Local Soundcheck simply scans local venue websites and presents their upcoming acts but with instantaneous music samples grabbed from YouTube. If I like the sound I push the Get Tickets button, and it takes me right back to the venue's website so I can see availability and buying options. Fast and simple.
